MESSAGE FROM SPE BOARD
Dear Colleagues and Members of SPE,
Electrochemistry is an interdisciplinary area that ranges from fundamental studies to industrial applications, such as the production of hydrogen or increasingly efficient batteries with longer lifespans. Thus, it is expected that professionals from different areas, from the Biomedical area to Mechanical Engineering, will use electrochemistry as an essential tool for the development of materials and products. Aware of this reality, the Portuguese Electrochemistry Society intends to be closer to its members and the Electrochemical community through several initiatives, including the publication of a Newsletter. This will be a space for the dissemination of information and nitiatives of SPE and its members.
We hope that with the Newsletter we can be closer to the members and thus make SPE stronger.
On behalf of SPE board,
Artur Valente & Armando Pombeiro
